Intake Trials - Sunday 21st August 2011
The Sturt Sabres Basketball Club will be holding external trails for current non Sturt members who are looking to play basketball in our district and domestic teams for the 2011/12 seasons. These trials are open to all current district players from other clubs, Domestic, Church, Mini Ball, and School Social players who would like to be a part of the current Overall Junior State Champion Club in South Australian Basketball.
All players will be offered a position either in a District basketball team or in one of our Domestic teams.
Sturt are the reigning State Champion Club, an achievement we have won for 11 of the last 13 years, and have a proud history of success as a club and with the players we have produced. These include Adelaide 36ers players Jacob Holmes, Tom Daly and Brad Hill, as well as Beijing Olympians Laura Summerton and Angela Marino.
The new district season starts in Term 4, October 2011 and concludes September 2012.

U/10’s Players Born 2003/2004/2005 Time 8.30am - 9.30am
U/12's Players Born 2001/2002 Time: 9:30am - 10:30am
U/14’s Players Born 1999/2000 Time 10.30am - 11.30am
U/16's Players Born 1997/1998 Time: 11:30am - 12:30pm
U/18’s Players Born 1995/1996 Time 12.30pm – 1.30pm

What to Bring: your basketball and a drink bottle
